George Lucas, the creator and director of the original Star Wars films, is the owner of Château Margüi vineyards in the Var region, where he produces red, white, and rosé wines across approximately 15 hectares. The first bottle from my new limited collection is a 2019 red wine from Château Margüi, the estate owned by George Lucas, the visionary behind Star Wars.
In 2008, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie purchased Château Miraval in the Var region, along with its 500 hectares of land, which includes 50 hectares of vineyards. The estate cost an estimated €25 million and is renowned primarily for its production of rosé wine.
In July 2021, George Clooney officially acquired the 425-acre Domaine du Canadel wine estate in the Var region. The property is located just twenty minutes from George Lucas’ estate and about half an hour from Brad Pitt’s.
